Happy Mother's Day

Dear Mommy:

I have never heard of Longchamp bags.
But I saw everybody carrying one on the street.
It's must be some good staff.
What kind of bag could attract women across countries, ages, professions and styles?
I hope you like it.

Love You

The Last Day

For some reason, I was really down before I left England.
I was desperate to see Mo of course.
However, I think a part of me didn't want to leave.
One Year. It's just enough time to fall in love with a place.
For the last day I staying in the UK, I visited Westminster Abbey and British Museum again-classic visitor attractions-to complete my first trip to London.
I am glad that I had saved the day for this 1000-year-old church, the witness of British history.
As taking photos were prohibited inside the church, I tried to memorized every tombs and monuments with all my feelings.
After saying goodbye to Kings, Queens, Gargoyles, Big Ben, London Eye, House of Parliament... I spent the evening in British Museum.
I walked on the paths full of Egyptian mummies and artifacts I missed last time with my tears dropping until the museum was closed.
What the funny thing was every time I went to the museum, my camera died.
Again those famous Egyptian sculptures could just stay in my memory.
Later than a fidgety night and an 30 hours restless journey, there Mo was, smaller and softer than I imagined.
I felt happy at last.

Earth Day

Climate Change Exhibition in Natural History Museum UK

Have anyone noticed that there is something wrong with the whole planet?
Global Warming, Earthquakes, Volcano Eruptions...
We only live here for a very short period of time, but we are consuming much more natural resource than we really need.
If the world is coming to its end in our time, I guess all these fashion, 3C products, money, relationship, cancer... are not important anymore.
Turning off the light, switching off the computer, putting reusable materials into the recycle bins, reducing the waste you might create... these are the things everyone can do everyday without extra effort or time.
I want Mo grow up happy and healthy seeing everything.
And one day, she might have babies just like I do.
I hope these recent events could wake the human beings.
Well... It's hard to make selfish people care though...

My Birthday Cake

Mo's Chocolate Beard

I never understood why don't old people like birthdays with all the cakes, presents and parties until now.

I just realize how fast time flies by looking at Mo from nothing to this little girl, going to school soon.

I used to make special plan for my birthday every year.

Now I am too lazy to buy myself something or go somewhere to celebrate.

I was really happy and surprised that Meryem asked me when my birthday is on my birthday last year.

I had a good meal in La Tasca with my classmates and a pair of very cute earrings.

Well... Like it or not, I am 29 today and I am 29 only once.

I hope it's a good year.

The Potty Training

Waiting...

Coming...

Pooping...

Good Job!

Mo knows about using toilet for a while as she goes to toilet with me every single time but I never really pushed her to do it.
I just kept telling her that it's a good way to take care of the business and there is the personal pretty toilet for her to use.
When it's her turn, she always sat there for like an hour with nothing coming out.
I had to give up and put her pants back on in the end.
This time, I got the perfect timing.
Once the ice was broke, Mo graduated from the training program immediately and said goodbye to diapers-her good friend for two years... with only a few accidents.
Good Job!
