The Last Day

For some reason, I was really down before I left England.
I was desperate to see Mo of course.
However, I think a part of me didn't want to leave.
One Year. It's just enough time to fall in love with a place.
For the last day I staying in the UK, I visited Westminster Abbey and British Museum again-classic visitor attractions-to complete my first trip to London.
I am glad that I had saved the day for this 1000-year-old church, the witness of British history.
As taking photos were prohibited inside the church, I tried to memorized every tombs and monuments with all my feelings.
After saying goodbye to Kings, Queens, Gargoyles, Big Ben, London Eye, House of Parliament... I spent the evening in British Museum.
I walked on the paths full of Egyptian mummies and artifacts I missed last time with my tears dropping until the museum was closed.
What the funny thing was every time I went to the museum, my camera died.
Again those famous Egyptian sculptures could just stay in my memory.
Later than a fidgety night and an 30 hours restless journey, there Mo was, smaller and softer than I imagined.
I felt happy at last.
